Our Story
In 2013, two young dental students – Dr. Karim Arcand and Dr. Raffi Tachjian – met with a shared dream: to reinvent the dental care experience. After years of listening to patients and reflecting on their challenges – anxiety, high costs, and lack of transparency – they envisioned a clinic with a difference. Today, with Dentisterie Confort in Saint-Hyacinthe, they are bringing their vision to life: to provide quality, accessible care in an environment where every patient feels comfortable and confident.

About Dentists
Dr. Karim Arcand
Born in Repentigny, Dr. Arcand graduated from the University of Montreal in 2018, then completed a residency in California to further his skills in surgery, endodontics and aesthetic restorations. Still in continuing education in orthodontics and implantology, he has also acquired a wealth of experience in community, mobile and refugee clinics. Passionate, he offers personalized and attentive service for the entire family.

Dr. Raffi Tachjian
Dr. Raffi Tachjian, a graduate of Université de Montréal in 2018, practices general dentistry at Dentisterie Confort Saint-Hyacinthe. His gentle manner and empathetic approach reflect his commitment to his patients' well-being. When opening his practice, he made listening, accessibility, and comfort his core priorities. He takes the time to understand each patient's individual needs, creating a welcoming environment where everyone can feel safe throughout their care journey. Dr. Tachjian offers a full range of general dentistry services, including examinations, preventive care, and restorative treatments.
